Tech Mix uses a combination of natural proteins from animal plasma, milk and whey. These protein sources have amino acid profiles very similar to canine plasma, and can be easily utilized by dogs with compromised organ function. In working dogs, this constant supply of protein will help them work longer without beginning to break down other sources of protein for body function.
Enzymes
Chelated minerals are minerals that have been complexed with other nutrients (most commonly amino acids) for improved absorption into the body. In hospitalized or sick dogs that are not eating enough quality dog food, these minerals should help maintain enzyme, hormone and immune function within the body. K-9 Restart provides copper, zinc, manganese and iron proteinates to promote blood formation and maintain organ function.
K-9 Restart uses whey as one of the sources of highly digestible nutrients. Because the occasional dog is sensitive to lactose in the lower gut, Tech Mix has added pure lactase enzyme to the formula to ensure normal gut function and the proper utilization of lactose.
