Great for building drive in puppies and young dogs. Although strong enough for tugging with adult and young dogs this model will not allow for proper drive building because of the shorter length. As a trainer you will not be able to build enough speed (prey) into the game and the much quicker adult dog will overwhelm the capabilities of this tool. Trainers of adult dogs should use the 5 foot Flirt Pole instead. The Mini Flirt Pole features an unbreakable plastic shaft and can be used with several prey articles.
